, supported the voluntary and community sector to be prepared for the Building Better Opportunities Social Inclusion project opportunities which were advertised in June 2015. £11.66m of European Social Fund and Big Lottery funding has been allocated to Hertfordshire's Building Better Opportunites programme for the period 2014-2020.Herts Get Set

our Herts Community Solutions partners. Throughout the project we provided a support service and we successfully delivered a programme of events to build awareness and support partnership development. We completed the project by delivering capacity-building training to build the skills and knowledge of tutors delivering employability programmes.
The Building Better Opportunities call for applications was launched on Friday 5th June with an application deadline of 3rd August. There were a total of 14 applications for the 3 projects in Hertfordshire. We are expecting an announcement about which have been shortlisted for Stage 2 in early November.Herts Get Set
