Project Manager, HCF Training and Development
Sarah is responsible for generating funding for VCS capacity-building and for managing our projects
Sarah started her development role for HTDC in October 2007, with essentially a blank sheet of paper. In addition to managing our projects, Sarah is also focussed on building engagement with HCF Training and Development within the voluntary and community sector in Hertfordshire and identifying funding and tender opportunities relevant to our core aims. Prior to this Sarah was an outreach officer for the Community Foundation. Sarah’s previous career was in management consultancy and before that in the television industry.
In her spare time Sarah has a variety of interests including tennis and music. She plays flute in the A10 Band, is in an “oldies” recorder group called RAGs and plays ladies and vets tennis for Broxbourne Tennis Club. Sarah’s husband is a research chemist and she has a daughter who works as a Medical Statistician for a pharmaceutical company in Cambridge and a son who is an engineer for Jaguar Landrover.
